Day Three

Today started out with a long drive to Page, AZ

We visited Antelope Canyon, which is comprised of the upper and lower canyon. We visited the upper canyon with our guided tour Antelope Canyon Tours.

Antelope Canyon is considered a "slot canyon" which is crevice sliced through a mesa by running water. This canyon still becomes flooded at times during times of heavy rains.

some sand flowing off the rocks reflects the light shining into the canyon

After going back to the motel to showing and change we headed over to Lake Powell for a sunset dinner cruse.  Lake Powell is the second largest man made lake. It is located inside Glenn Canyonand was formed when the Glen Canyon dam was built. The lake is 186 miles in length and has over 2000 miles of waterfront.

Some wonderful rock formations found on Lake Powell.

The climate here surprised me, I was expecting it to be dry and hot everyday. That is not what I found though.

This cruse gave us ample of chance to take some wonderful photography.

The sun starting to set.

The colors starting to rise.
